Aleppo Old City : Tongue and Knuckle
In the butchery part of Aleppo bazaar in the Old City, there is a section of people selling the 'unwanted' part of sheep or cow's segment . Things like sheep's head, knuckle and tongue( Pic above) , genital parts and stomach can be found and considered is delicacy. Mostly cooked as a soupy dishes. I found it very interesting and managed to capture one to share with Flickr friends.
